Frequently Asked Question's
Choosing a puppy is a big decision, and we know you'll probably have lots of questions. We've answered some of the most common questions we receive below, but if there's anything else you'd like to know, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Do you have a waiting list?
Yes. We operate a carefully managed electronic waiting list, allowing us to get to know prospective families before puppies arrive.

How do I join the waiting list?
There are a few places you can reach our Questionnaire, HERE and on our "Getting a puppy from us page", on our Linktree, or your welcome to message us of any of our socials to ask for the link.
Do I need to complete the questionnaire?
Yes. Every prospective owner is asked to complete our online questionnaire, whether you're joining our waiting list or applying for a currently available puppy.

Does completing a questionnaire guarantee a puppy?
No. Completing a questionnaire does not guarantee that you will be offered a puppy.
Every application is carefully considered, and puppies are matched to families based on suitability, temperament and individual requirements.
How do you choose which family gets each puppy?
We don't believe in simply selling to the first person with a deposit.
Every puppy develops its own personality, and we take time to assess temperament, confidence and suitability before matching them with the family we believe will provide the very best lifelong home.
Can I choose the colour or sex of my puppy?
We'll always do our best to consider your preferences, including colour, sex and coat type where applicable. However, our priority will always be finding the right match between puppy and family.
Why do your puppies stay until 10–12 weeks?
We believe puppies benefit greatly from spending additional time with their mother and our adult dogs.
This allows them to continue developing important social skills, confidence, resilience and independence before moving to their new homes.
How are your puppies raised?
Our puppies are raised entirely within our family home.
They experience everyday household life, children, other dogs, visitors and a variety of sounds, surfaces and enrichment activities to help prepare them for life as confident family companions.
Are your puppies Kennel Club registered?
Yes. Unless otherwise stated, all of our puppies are Royal Kennel Club registered.
Why do you use Kennel Club endorsements?
Our endorsements are in place to protect the future of our bloodlines and encourage responsible breeding.
They are not intended to prevent responsible breeding forever, but to ensure that any future breeding is carefully considered and supported by appropriate health testing.
Owners who purchase a puppy specifically as a breeding prospect are welcome to discuss the removal of endorsements in the future, subject to our requirements being met.
Are your breeding dogs health tested?
Yes. Our breeding programme includes DNA testing and appropriate breed-specific health testing where available.
As veterinary knowledge continues to evolve, we remain committed to expanding our health testing programme and continually improving our breeding lines.
Can I visit the puppies?
Yes. Once your application has been approved, and we have done a video viewing, we do allow a follow up with an in-person visit at the appropriate stage of your puppy's development.
This helps protect our young puppies while allowing you to get to know them before collection day.
What does my puppy go home with?
Every Kamroschis puppy leaves with a carefully prepared puppy pack and folder.
The contents of our puppy packs may vary, but full details will always be provided before collection. The folder will include all of the documentation (such as Sales Contract, RKC transfer papers, RKC puppy insurance, Microchip number and Vet check certificate, as well as information regarding their routine to help them settle into their new home).

What support do you offer after collection?
Every Kamroschis puppy comes with lifetime breeder support.
Whether you need advice on feeding, behaviour, training, health or simply want to share updates and photographs, we're always happy to hear from our puppy families.
Our owners are also invited to join our growing Kamroschis community through our social media pages and dedicated owner group chat.

What happens if my circumstances change?
If, at any point during your dog's life, you are no longer able to care for them, we ask that you contact us first.
We will always do our best to help and request that no Kamroschis dog is rehomed without our knowledge. Our commitment to every puppy lasts for their entire lifetime.

What is your approach to raising your dogs?
Our dogs are first and foremost family members.
We believe in providing a loving home environment, quality nutrition, plenty of enrichment, exercise and opportunities for natural development. Wherever possible, we choose products and practices that align with our holistic approach while always putting the health and welfare of our dogs first.

Can I use one of your stud dogs?
Yes. We offer a limited stud service to suitable purebred Chihuahua bitches.
Please visit our Stud Dogs page for full information about our boys, stud terms and booking process.
